It's a birthday...no, it's an anniversary...wait, shall we call it a birthaversary instead? Either way...it's a GIVEAWAY!

*disclosure, polish provided by
 Blue Eyed Lacquer for give-away*

Good afternoon, darling readers!  It's FRIDAY!  Do you have any plans for the week-end?  Today happens to be my grandson's first birthday!  I have no idea where this past year has gone, as it's gone so quickly.  He just started walking on his own so now we have a mobile monkey to keep an eye on! lol

Back in June, as I was thinking about how my hubby and I could celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, I also started thinking about how I could share the occasion with y'all.  I ended up contacting my friend, Julie, over at Wishes of a Blue-Eyed Girl and we began discussing creating a custom nail polish. That is when Dream Weaver was born and why.  It is my little "Thank You" for celebrating our anniversary, and now, my grandson's first birthday with us.  I have decided to call this Our Birthaversary Give-Away.  Our anniversary was actually on July 12th, but due to my pain issues sneaking up and taking over, I hadn't posted the give-away, nor Julie's original guest post, until now.  Without further ado, for those who aren't familiar with her already, and for those who are, let's meet Julie and Dream Weaver!

More after the jump:

Hello, lovely readers!  My name is Julie, and I blog over at Wishes of a Blue-Eyed Girl.  Angie has asked me to drop by and write a guest post while she and her hubby celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary.  Isn't that phenomenal?!  So, to help her celebrate, I have created a custom for her giveaway!  It's called Dream Weaver.  Let's take a look, shall we?

Dream Weaver consists of a black jelly base, silver micro glitters, red and blue holo hexes, purple and teal shreds, medium fuchsia and large red dots, hot pink and aqua stars, and purple hearts.  Without further ado, let's take a look!

This is three coats layered over itself.  You could also layer it over black if you'd rather have a less busy look.

I knew when Angie started telling me what she wanted that it would turn out really nice.  I especially like the depth of this polish created by the silver micro glitters.

Here it is blurry so you can see the holo bits a little better.

Some of the glitters in this polish are very heavy, so it can be a little harder to get them out of the bottle.  I suggest flipping the bottle upside down, rolling it between your palms, then leaving it upside down while you prep for your mani.  That should help get some of those heavier glitters out.

Let's all congratulate her and her husband on this amazing milestone.  May you celebrate many more years together!

I want to thank Julie for taking the time to create this polish for this give-away.  She not only sent me a bottle for y'all, but she was kind enough to include one for me as well as a couple of mini's I've been eyeballing, as an anniversary gift.  Thank you so much Julie, for working with me to create this beautiful polish.  I hope the winner is as happy with it as I am.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to spend with us today.  I hope you have a fantastic week-end!

*coming up on my blog, my July & August Ipsy bags!
